Need for Speed Carbon review When a sequel's not a sequel, the streets have no name, and the sun never shines - thank goodness the racing still kicks ass Electronic Arts Need For Speed Carbon
About the only really good thing in this game is Autosculpt, something not even Forza 1 and 2 have - Forza 3 features unknown at the date of this rant, uh, review. This allows for an unbelieveably huge amount of customization and this idea should be in more racing games, not just the Need for Speed franchise.
The answer is that while Need for Speed: Carbon does have some drawbacks, it is a fun game. Explanation of Scoring: I give the game a base score, which is given by gameplay, and then I tack on any modifiers for anytihng I feel is worthy of note, whether it be positive or negative.
I think my main problem is that compared to this yearโ€™s best racing game, Test Drive Unlimited, Need for Speed: Carbon just doesn't hold a candle to it. Story - 5/10 Graphics - 6/10 Sound - 7/10 Control - 8/10 Game Play - 7/10 Replay value - 5/10 Final Score - 7/10

So you if want a racing game with a superb storyline, NFS: Carbon-Own the City is probably not for you. The newest addition to the Need for Speed series, Carbon sees the player come to a place named Palmont City, where car crews are vying for territory and power. You are thrown into the middle of it all, and start your own crew and race to own the roads. Career- 7/10 Career is good, but it is very short. I managed to get to the last few races in
The Need for Speed series is no different, and fans know to count on a new game being released every November. Last yearโ€™s Most Wanted was a high mark for the series, taking the open world and customization aspects from the Underground games and the police chases from Hot Pursuit 2. The instant I started playing it, I could tell "Need for Speed" turned into "Need to Leave Existence". (Sorry if that was lame, it was the best one I could think of) So let's begin reviewing the worst racing in the world. Graphics: 6/10 Average. I'm also being extremely generous since the game looks exactly like Need for Speed Most Wanted. IDlxnQ.
