Although I was able to install mods through the Workshop, I thought that I can then open up the ETS2 folder and find the "mod" folder under finder. Unfortunately, I did not find any mod folder. So I tried experimenting and installed some mods from the internet and instead I created a separate folder and named it mods under the ETS2 folder.

Hey guys, so I am fairly new to ETS 2 and I was able to install a couple of mods that have worked perfectly such as: Reifen Sound (tire sound), Windshield Wiper Sound, and another engine sound mod. Now, my problem is I download new mods such as a Volvo FH16 interior mod, any skin mods, TMS 5 model, weather improvement, etc. I download the file and I then copy it into the ETS 2 mods folder.

Simplified Directions. 1. Copy the Zip File, K-DOG’s Map America v1.46b, to your mod folder, then unzip it into its own folder. Delete or move the K-DOG’s Map America v1.46b zip file to a different folder outside the game, it is no longer needed. It is to big to use as a .scs or .zip file. Open the new folder and verify the map files are there.
