Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC Two ways to lower it. Cut the springs, replace the springs. On my 560SEL I cut 1.0 coils off the front spring and used the SLS to lower the back. On a 420SEL I worked on, cut 1.0 coils off front and rear springs. Both looked good and rode very nicely, close to a stock ride.
