I have owned my overland since new (138k miles) and while the air suspensions has been problem free the past 8yrs, i recently had one of the rear bags rip and need it replaced. Dealer wants $1500 to replace just one rear air spring/bag. I see aftermarket bags can be purchased for $250-$400.
Slap a special edition sticker on something and it's an instant $5,000 markup. Even if you did nothing but add stickers, guess what - people will buy it. Sad, but true. That said, any stock Jeep is a capable overland rig. Just know its limits and address the things you can like wheels/tires.

Thinking about jumping back into another Jeep. Found a 2011 Overland with the 5.7 but no tow package. I know I can add the hitch but what else would be needed to get the most towing potential? It does not have the quadra lift so will it just be standard shocks that let the back end drop when I hook up a heavy trailer? Thanks for the help!
