Save directions on My Maps You can import map features like lines, shapes, and places to your map from KML files, spreadsheets and other files. Import map data to a layer Step 1: Pre But I can't find the import feature anywhere in the Bing Maps user interface. Before I go too far saving places in either Bing Maps or Google Maps, I'd like to ensure I can exchange my saved places between them.
In the longer term, you do have the option of creating a new Google "My Maps" map, and importing KML, KMZ or GeoRSS into that. Once done, you can share the resultant map using the standard My Maps tools.
I have the same problem I can't Import or export .GPX file to my gpsmap 62s, I suceed to take back the .gpx and register it with basecamp and after work on it with Qgis but I still don't succed to transfert the .gpx to my gps. Did you found a solution? Thanks for your answer! Julien Brach –
If you don't have an account for "my Maps" make one. Click the tool icon(cog like thingy), go to "create maps" and click "create in classic" I can't make it work in the new version. upload the .kmz file and save the custom map with the track Now, when you go to Google earth on the ipad, click "layers" , At bottom of the layers list click "my maps".
Create a map in "My Maps" within Google Maps. On the left side of the editing window, click the "Import" button. Step 4. Upload the GPX or KML file from the location where you saved it on your computer. Choose whether you want the uploaded file to replace everything on the current map or to just overlap it. Step 5. View the data from your GPX
Select "Download your Maps data" and use Google Takeout to export Looks like the only data you need is "Maps (your places)" (I didn't export the other "Maps" data, Your preferences and personal places in Maps, cause from the details, it looks like only include configs)

Use your Google Account. Email or phone. Forgot email? Type the text you hear or see. Not your computer?

You can find this option in the menu on the left. Just under that layer, click the Import link. An option to import the GPX file from your computer will present itself. You can choose to do so or simply drag and drop the file directly into the area provided. Hit the Upload button and your map waypoints should be added to the new map, automatically. cxku.
